The tournament format will be a handicap Round Robin. Here is how it works:
The tournament participants will be split into groups to as close to 10 as possible. The groups will be chosen based on the members handicap. The top 10 will play each other, then the second ten and so on. If the teams are uneven the top group(s) play with one less participant but each player will be awarded 1/2 point. Each participant will receive a list of who they need to play.
Each participant will play one game with every other participant in their group. Order of who you play is not important and you should always play the most available participant. The lower handicapped person will pick the toss with the winner deciding the game or the play position. If the game is in use and not on its last ball another game must be chosen. Scores will be 1 for a win and 0 for a loss.
Once all players have played the scores will be added and the top 8 total will advance to a semi-final Round Robin.
Again scores will be added and the top 4 will advance to the final Round Robin.
Ties will solved by a one game playoff. The game will be picked by the lowest handicapped person.
